NoStranger is a conversation-first Chrome extension that delivers a choose-your-path mystery. You’ll receive a message from a stranger and, through real-time chats, you search blogs, contact characters, and explore social media to uncover who he is, his motive, and his dark secret. Remember: this is not a game but a conversation that adapts to your choices as you navigate the web’s interconnected world.

Inspired by LifeLine and Her Story, NoStranger uses real websites, phone numbers, and videos to create a believable, immersive experience. It invites you to piece together clues across digital traces while confronting sensitive themes, with trigger warnings for suicide and violence. Created by Matthew Ventures (@mrVentures) and Scott Mulligan, this extension invites you to join updates and discussions via its community channels.
