## Description

The game is part of a series of mobile apps designed to introduce te Reo Māori words and phrases to pre-schoolers in a fun and playful way.  The rest of the series will include puzzles about roads, pets and animals, and packing for kohanga reo. The aim is to bring the sound and meaning of te Reo Māori into everyday classroom and home activities. 

The series is funded by Te Māngai Pāho, the Government Māori language agency operating in the broadcast sector. Te Māngai Pāho's purpose is to promote Māori language and Māori culture. This initiative forms part of a strategy to explore opportunities offered by new media to reach diverse audiences.
