What you can do:
- Join public chat rooms by topic, interest or language (English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu)
- See who's in the room before you chat
- Start private chats only with people you've met in rooms or added as friends
- Voice and video calls with your friends
- Share photos, videos, voice notes, emojis and status updates
- See what your friends are up to in Updates
- Set your presence (online, away, appear offline) so friends know when to message
- Choose who can call you, or turn calls off completely
- Report, mute or block anyone who misbehaves
- Low data usage, ideal during loadshedding or on a small bundle

Safe by design: you join a room first, then choose who to talk to. There is no random matching with strangers — you stay in control of your conversations. Accounts are verified by mobile number where available. Content is filtered, and you can report any message, photo, voice note or profile. We act on every report and remove users who break our rules.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
