## Description

Note: AmbientTool is being discontinued as of January 31, 2023. The extension supported the initial setup of Ambient Weather WS-2902 consoles (sold Dec 2016–May 2018) by connecting to your Wi-Fi and the Internet. After discontinuation, the console may continue to display readings, but it will stop reporting data to AWN if you need to reconnect or update Wi‑Fi settings.

If you own a WS-2902D or newer, the app is no longer required for Internet connectivity. Ambient Weather offers an upgrade program and rebates for affected users to maintain access to weather data and the AWN service. See the upgrade program details for steps to upgrade to the WS-2902D.
