One of the hardest parts of making music is finding the right instrumental to write to. And if you don’t produce music yourself, that can feel like a wall between your ideas and a finished song. That’s exactly why I made this app.

Now there’s a place to work on your voice, too. Vocal Coach gives you guided warmups, piano-led pitch practice and a range finder to help you find a comfortable place to sing. Start with Voice Foundations for posture, breathing and gentle release, then listen to a phrase and sing it back, with visual feedback on your pitch. You can practise with lessons that fit your saved vocal range, and start with free lessons before exploring more with Pro.

With Study Beats Pro, you get 20 new tracks a month across different genres, so there’s fresh inspiration to come back to. Free users get the Mixed Starter Pack, with all Pro effects available on its tracks, plus free Vocal Coach lessons to help them get going. You don’t need any studio gear or experience. Just pick a track that inspires you, give your song a name, and start writing. When you're ready, record your vocals right in the app using just your phone or iPad and headphones.

Try the full vocal chain on the free Mixed Starter Pack — compression, EQ, a doubler, de-esser and reverb — to shape your sound without needing a studio. With Pro, you can use these tools across the wider track library and explore more Vocal Coach training programs.
