## Description

The AFG Pro Fitness app lets you wirelessly connect and control your AFG Pro 7-series or 6-series treadmill from a tablet or phone. It provides real-time workout feedback, customizable data displays, and quick-key controls for speed, incline, and resistance.

Designed for ease of use, it tracks your performance, stores workout history, and lets you customize your fitness journal. It also syncs calories, distance, and other metrics with MyFitnessPal and MapMyFitness, so you can view results in your favorite apps while enjoying music or video on your tablet.

## Rankings

- #144,956 — Overall

## Review summary

The app is widely criticized for unstable Bluetooth connections, poor data/history syncing, and a clunky UI. Repeated issues include failed connections, data not saving or displaying, and profile setup glitches. Compatibility with newer iOS devices is a common problem, with little recent updates or support cited. While some users note occasional profile edits or settings tweaks when the device is connected, the overall experience is dominated by instability and weak developer support.

### Pros

- Bluetooth pairing can work when the connection succeeds.
- Ability to change usernames/profiles (initially works in some cases).
- When connected, you can adjust treadmill settings from the app.

### Cons

- Frequent and unreliable Bluetooth connections / never or rarely connects to treadmill
- History and data handling problems: workouts not saved, history not displayable, poor Apple Health sync
- Profile/setup glitches: age input often non-functional, cannot save profiles, profiles get reset
- Very slow, outdated UI/UX with poor navigation and dark-mode display issues
- Lack of updates and poor developer support: compatibility issues with newer iOS devices and little to no responses from developers
