## Rankings

## Review summary

Overall, users praise the app’s intuitive design, DRM-free downloads, and the ability to upload personal audiobooks, plus easy in-app purchases. However, they repeatedly warn that purchased titles can disappear after inactivity, the catalog has shrunk, credits expire or are hard to use, and the app suffers from bugs (search failures, playback glitches, bookmarks not saving) and poor support. The positives show potential, but reliability and catalog issues significantly impact the experience.

### Pros

- Intuitive, simple, and functional UI.
- DRM-free downloads and the ability to upload your own audiobooks.
- In-app purchasing makes it easy to buy more titles.
- Download purchases for offline listening.
- Historically a large selection and a user experience similar to Audible.

### Cons

- Purchased content can disappear after inactivity; there is no clear warning at purchase.
- Catalog has dramatically shrunk; many titles are unavailable or not in English.
- Credits expire after six months and can be hard or impossible to use.
- Frequent technical issues: search may return no results, playback progress can glitch, bookmarks may not save, and crashes occur.
- App stability and support concerns: crashes, battery drain, and slow/unresponsive customer support.
