## Description

The Swachhata-MoHUA is the official app of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), GOI. It enables citizens to post civic issues (e.g., garbage dumps), which are forwarded to the city corporation and assigned to the ward’s sanitary inspector. Built by IChangeMyCity, a Janaagraha initiative, it supports urban cleanliness and governance.

How it works: take a photo with your smartphone, select a category (e.g., Garbage dump, Garbage vehicle not arrived, Dustbins not cleaned, Public toilets cleaning, blockages, no water/electricity, etc.), the app captures location, and submits the complaint to the relevant sanitary inspector/engineer. You can vote on other issues, receive push updates with status and resolution images, and reopen a complaint if you’re not satisfied.
