## Description

Stay informed and safe with myAlerts by Konexus. This Chrome extension brings emergency alerts, severe weather warnings, and important community updates into one place. Add the places that matter - home, work, your child's school, or a loved one's residence - and enable location monitoring to receive alerts wherever you go.

Severe weather comes in real time from the National Weather Service and is customizable per location and severity. Public safety alerts from participating agencies cover events that threaten you, including active shooter incidents, hazardous materials, wildfires, and evacuations. Community notifications alert you to local road closures and outages. If a location isn't covered by a Konexus-connected agency, you'll still get weather alerts but not local safety or community updates.
