## Description

Version 3.5 is here: Open DXF, Shapefile, and KML drawings on satellite imagery, disassemble with thousands of EPSG files, and export as CSV/DXF/SHP/KML. Now on iPad.

Geospatial engineering calculations for surveyors and land surveying professionals. Record, stake out and measure areas with GPS in the field; run high-precision coordinate transformations at the office.

GPS MODULES
■ Detailing with GPS — record positions from your device's GPS sensor in ED50 and ITRF96, in 3- and 6-degree zones.
■ Stakeout with GPS — navigate to a target coordinate with compass and map guidance.
■ Area Calculate with GPS — walk the boundary to compute area and perimeter.
■ Open Project with GPS — view your DXF, Shapefile and KML drawings over satellite imagery and plot your points on top.

CALCULATION MODULES
■ Bearing and distance, angle and distance, polar stakeout

■ 2D coordinate transformation — similarity transformation from two common points

ABOUT ACCURACY
All transformations performed by the app are high-precision calculations. However, the accuracy of the result is limited by the accuracy of the WGS84 geographic coordinate your device receives from the satellites: a transformation cannot produce an output more precise than its input. Today, neither handheld GPS units nor the GPS sensors in mobile devices can deliver sub-metre positions directly from satellites. For this reason, Kocaman Pro is recommended for general positioning work rather than high-precision positioning work.
