## Review summary

Meural hardware is praised for color and realism, and the concept of multi-frame photo/art display has strong appeal. The software, however, is repeatedly criticized for instability, login problems, privacy concerns about full-library access, unreliable uploads/scheduling, and weak support. These recurring issues dominate user sentiment, with many customers choosing to keep the hardware but abandon or replace the companion app.

### Pros

- High-quality hardware/frame with excellent color and display clarity.
- Ability to display personal photos and art across multiple Meural canvases; strong use-case appeal.
- The app's interface is visually appealing and easy to navigate when it works.

### Cons

- App instability and frequent crashes; the app often won’t open or runs poorly.
- Frequent login/authentication problems requiring reinstall or repeated re-login (invalid token).
- Privacy concerns due to updates requiring access to all photos rather than selected photos.
- Uploads often fail (photos/videos), and scheduling features frequently reset.
- Poor customer support and inconsistent cross-platform behavior for the app and web.
