## Description

The PatientSpot registry was developed to empower people with chronic diseases to fight back by participating in real-world, patient-centric research. With this app, you will be able to track YOUR symptoms, health and wellness using surveys, completing validated patient reporting outcomes questionnaires and using data captured by your phone (biosensor data) to monitor well-being. PatientSpot enables participants to also track medications, medical history and to share health information with care providers, family members, etc. at their discretion. PatientSpot has the ability to run on a smartphone App and on the web for PCs, giving participants the ability to stay connected whenever they want. Come join the fight and help others as you help yourself, track your health and use your data to help combat chronic illness.

## Rankings

- #226,908 — Overall

## Review summary

Users value PatientSpot for tracking symptoms and medications, and for its reporting/graphing to share with clinicians and researchers, plus positive updates that improve usability. However, reliability issues are a frequent pain point: ongoing glitches (blank screens, freezes), registration/login barriers, broken assessment flows, and repetitive or poorly worded questions that hinder accurate reporting. The app offers strong data-tracking capabilities but onboarding and stability problems limit consistent use.

### Pros

- Easy symptom tracking and trend visualization (journal)
- Medication tracking with notes and history
- Reports and graphs to share with doctors and researchers
- Regular updates that improve usability and user experience

### Cons

- Frequent glitches causing blank screens, freezes, and loss of work that sometimes require reinstalling the app
- Registration and login/registering difficulties that block initial setup
- Assessment flows sometimes don’t load or respond (buttons do nothing or mid-question exits)
- Some questions are repetitive or poorly worded, reducing accuracy of reporting
