2021-02-23 Michael Pretty exactly what I was looking for. After Youtube decided to degrade every single video I watch to 480p, this extension is a godsend. Sometimes it takes a little while until it recognizes the degradation but most of the time it is nearly instant. And: no Bloatware, YAY! Works as expected. Can very much recommend!
