## Description

**html.to.design** is a powerful tool that enables designers and developers to convert any website, including private pages behind log-ins, into fully editable Figma designs. By installing the Chrome extension (compatible with Firefox as well) and the associated Figma plugin, you can import HTML from any webpage directly into Figma to streamline the design process without reconstructing elements from scratch.

The extension leverages browser debugging features to extract HTML while keeping all data local for privacy. After downloading the webpage data using the extension, simply drag and drop the file into the html.to.design Figma plugin to start customizing your design. While still a work in progress aiming for pixel-perfect import, this tool significantly accelerates workflow for UI/UX designers wanting to leverage existing web content efficiently.
