BRASS is an independent, community-run platform that connects people who<br>need urgent help with nearby, verified community volunteers (&quot;Sevaks&quot;)<br>who can respond in minutes.<br><br>IF YOU NEED HELP<br>• Raise an SOS in one tap — no account needed.<br>• Nearby Sevaks are alerted and routed to you.<br>• Watch help converge in a live view — who&#39;s responding, how far away<br>  they are, and when they arrive.<br><br>IF YOU WANT TO HELP — BECOME A SEVAK<br>• Sign in with your phone number and apply to be a Sevak.<br>• Get verified by the BRASS team (identity + trusted contact).<br>• Go &quot;On duty&quot; when you&#39;re free to respond; you&#39;ll be alerted when<br>  someone nearby needs help and shown the way.<br><br>PRIVACY &amp; LOCATION<br>• Your location is shared only while you are &quot;On duty,&quot; so dispatch can<br>  route you to people nearby who need help — including in the background,<br>  shown by an ongoing &quot;BRASS — on duty&quot; notification.
