Full summary

When you click on a link in a YouTube videos description YouTube does not directly redirect you to the target site. Instead they redirect you to a page where they can track your clicking activities and auto-redirect you to the destination page. This extension fixes that behavior by sending you to the destination site directly.

The extension is OSS and licensed under the MIT licence. You can find the source code on Github: https://github.com/DudeNamedBen/youtube-redirect-tracking-remover

This extension brings back the good old scrollbar to YouTube's suggestion box respectively related videos. At the moment the default settings of YouTube is a long list that forces you to scroll the whole page if you want to scroll through the suggestions. With this extension you can scroll the suggestions AND watch the video. Simple.

Changelog: Version 0.9: Added permission for https-connections to YouTube since Google decided to redirect connections. Therefore the extension must be reactivated due to security restrictions in Chrome. Don't worry, this is a normal procedure and is nothing to worry about. Version 0.8: fix for the new YouTube layout
