deBubblr

deBubblr analyses your web browsing history to determine the biases, then it suggests websites to diversify the news consumption.

What does this extension do? deBubblr analyses your web browsing history from a set of whitelisted websites to determine the biases of your past news consumption, then it suggests websites from the other sites to diversify the news you are consuming.

This extension will help us determine our biases for a specific period of time and will suggest sites with opposite biases, to help us break from the "echo chamber" that are in. This will help us balance our online news consumption.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

deBubblr requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
