Users find the Live Screen Recorder easy to use with good video and audio quality, appreciating options for audio sources and that it works when other recorders fail. However, common issues include inability to fast-forward or rewind recordings, missing audio in some videos, and confusion about file saving locations. Additionally, there are significant privacy concerns raised by users, indicating distrust in the add-on's handling of data.

- Uncertainty about where recorded files are saved or if files are automatically saved.
- Concerns raised about privacy related to the add-on.

Recording worked and video quality and audio seemed fine, but only thing that sucks is that you can't skip forward in the video! :(

I don't know, but this sounds really creepy, and I highly discourage anyone from downloading this.
This is a very bad project regarding privacy.

Works where others did not! I do like how you can choose whether to record system sounds, mike, or both.
ONE NOTE that I keep running into. When I try to open the captured video with VLC (de-facto standard!), I cannot fastforward or rewind. To help others, I was able to use ffmpeg to correct it, using this command-line (for example) (between the quotes in cmd prompt, not including quotes):
"ffmpeg -err_detect ignore_err -i 2024-12-19.webm -c copy 2024-12-19-fixed.webm"
When opening the fixed.webm with VLC, no problems at all, and should also be able to transcode with VLC to x265 10-bit to save size/bandwidth.
You can find ffmpeg.exe if you install for example portable apps then Shotcut64 in the App folder.
