Priority On/Off Switch for Google Drive™ makes the 'Priority' menu item switchable, so you can hide it.

Sometimes the 'Priority' item at the top of the menu in Google Drive™ is really useful, but sometimes it's good to have 'My Drive' at the top instead.

This extension by Steve Bunyan's Digital Toolbox, allows you to hide or show the 'Priority' menu item with a simple toggle switch.
