iCloud Bookmarks

iCloud Bookmarks

Keep your Chrome bookmarks on Windows up to date with the Safari bookmarks on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

What is iCloud Bookmarks?
iCloud Bookmarks is a Chrome extension that provides seamless synchronization of your bookmarks across your devices. By linking your Chrome bookmarks with Safari bookmarks on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows PC, you can maintain a unified bookmark library. This allows you to switch devices without losing track of your saved web pages. Also, to clarify, iCloud for Windows is a prerequisite for using the iCloud Bookmarks extension.

The update was a bit quirky and made the extension stop working. Here is what I did to make it work as intended (even the latest iCloud password extension): 1) Uninstall the iCloud app and the iCloud browser extension(s). 2) Restart your computer. 3) From your Apple device, go to your iCloud profile settings > iCloud > Show All (if needed) > and toggle off Safari (will temporarily turn off bookmark and password syncing). 4) Reinstall iCloud app from the Microsoft Store. 5) Reinstall latest iCloud browser extensions using links provided in iCloud app setup or from browser add-on store. 6) Using directions from step 3 above, toggle Safari back on (will turn on bookmark and password syncing). 7) Everything should sync properly. If not, repeat the steps.
