## Description

Speed is computed from GPS and lags a car&#39;s own speedometer by a second or two. In a tunnel or between buildings there is no signal and the number freezes. A car speedometer usually reads high, so a disagreement is normal rather than a fault.<br><br>The instrument uses the phone&#39;s GPS and shows the value in km/h.<br><br>• A car cluster: the arc turns yellow after 60 and red after 120.<br>• The trip peak stays as a mark on the scale.<br>• A 15-second time-speed chart with marks at 60, 120 and 180.<br>• A daylight scheme for the windscreen — sun and moon.<br>• SHARE sends a picture of the peak on the dial.<br>• A trip records itself: distance, time, average and peak.<br>• No ads. Under a megabyte.<br><br>Location is used only to compute speed. No route is stored or sent anywhere.<br><br>The app sends anonymous usage statistics; you can turn this off in settings.<br><br>Independent development: one person builds and maintains this app. A letter to xmaxxp@gmail.com is read by that person, not by a support desk.
