FIELD SCANNER reads the magnetometer built into your device and shows the field in microtesla — the real number, with no invented readings.<br><br>What people use it for: checking wiring behind a wall, finding out how much field a microwave or a router puts out, locating metal in furniture, and showing friends what the air around them looks like.<br><br>• Live reading in µT or milligauss, with X, Y and Z axes<br>• Analogue needle, LED bar and a one-minute graph<br>• Peak value, minimum and maximum<br>• Sound alert above a threshold you set<br>• Recordings kept on the device, up to 30 minutes each<br>• Home screen widget<br>• Sensor status and accuracy shown on screen at all times<br><br>Honest by design. The Earth&#39;s own field is 25–65 µT — that is written right on the screen, so a normal reading is never mistaken for a discovery. If your device has no magnetometer, the app says so and shows nothing at all, instead of inventing numbers.<br><br>No ads. No permissions. No account. Nothing leaves your phone.<br><br>Requires a device with a magnetometer. Most phones have one; some budget models do not.
