I did this plugin because all others i have tried were completely useless.

Here you will be able to customize the XPath generator algorithm to really answer your needs. It helps me, i hope it will also help you.

Great tool! I'm impressed by the algorithm. But, I found several issues. 1. When using innerText and the target element contains other tags (e.g. <a> tag which is a child of <p> tag), the result table will be corrupted. 2. For combining childPosition with other conditions, you should use "position()=n". "[n]" cannot be used with other conditions. In "[n and @class='a']", n is evaluated as a boolean expression, so it is equaivalent to "[@class='a']".

Oh my god i've been longing for this extension for so long, i wasted so much of my time trying to learn and a hella lot manual trial & error. Until now. Thanks @Jérôme FEUILLEBOIS

Love it. It will be even better if we can - save the algorithm - button to copy the XPATH - button to hide/minimize the panel
