## Description

BikeLog is a clean, private cycling tracker that records your rides with GPS,<br>shows them on a real map, and lets you drop pinned notes anywhere along the<br>route. Everything stays on your device — no cloud, no account, no analytics,<br>no ads.<br><br>Why BikeLog<br>• Privacy first. Your routes, your phone, your data. Nothing is uploaded.<br>• No account or sign-in. Install and ride.<br>• Minimal permissions. Only what is genuinely required for GPS recording<br>  and the persistent notification of an active ride.<br>• No background-location permission requested. Recording in the background<br>  is handled by a foreground service started from the app, which is the<br>  privacy-friendly way to do it on modern Android.<br><br>Recording<br>• One-tap Start / Pause / Stop with a big, glove-friendly button.<br>• Live stats during the ride: current speed, average and max speed,<br>  distance, moving time and total time, elevation gain.<br>• Reliable background recording. Lock the screen or switch to another app —<br>  your ride keeps recording until you stop it.
