But over time, I hit their limits — conditional blocking like "block X only on home Wi-Fi" required a separate tool, checking usage stats meant yet another app, each with its own subscription and ads. And text-only launchers made it impossible to tell apart similar apps like Google and Microsoft Authenticator. Too simple was its own kind of inconvenient.

What I really wanted was one app that did it all. So I built Focus Launcher — a launcher, app blocker, and usage tracker combined into one.
