## Description

DeAlter hides YouTube videos that carry an "altered or synthetic content" disclosure — the label creators add when footage is AI-generated or significantly digitally altered — so they disappear from your feed as you browse.

It works automatically the moment you install it. Flip it on or off from the toolbar, where a small counter shows how many it has hidden.

• Filters the home feed, search, sidebar, and channel pages
• Replaces each hidden video with a small placeholder instead of removing it, so the page never jumps or flickers
• Reads each video's official disclosure — no guessing, no false flags on real footage
• Remembers its verdicts, so browsing stays fast and light on requests
• Private: everything runs in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no servers.

Note: DeAlter can only hide videos that are actually disclosed as altered or AI-generated. Undisclosed AI can't be detected from outside YouTube — by anyone.
