## Description

dealRadar is a local-first browser extension that helps you track product prices on e-commerce websites.

You can manually track products from any open tab, view historical price trends, and receive notifications when prices drop based on your alert rules. All tracked data is stored locally in your browser — no accounts, no backend, and no external data collection.

Key features:
• Track products directly from the active tab
• View price history charts with minimum and maximum prices
• Receive notifications for price drops or target prices
• Daily background checks using browser alarms
• Deal score based on current price versus historical average
• Remove products from tracking at any time

Price detection uses a combination of structured data (such as JSON-LD), meta tags, and DOM heuristics. Some websites may restrict automated checks, in which case prices may not update until revisited.

dealRadar does not collect or transmit personal data and works entirely offline within the browser.
