## Description

SHIFTDECK PARENTS is the app for parents of a day-care centre running SHIFTDECK.<br><br>IMPORTANT — YOU NEED AN ACCOUNT FROM YOUR CENTRE<br>This app is not a standalone service. On first launch you enter the address of your centre&#39;s SHIFTDECK server, or scan the QR code the centre gave you. Without that parent account the app cannot be used.<br><br>WHAT YOU CAN DO<br>• Overview: what is happening today<br>• Noticeboard with announcements and news from the centre<br>• Chat with the centre — with pictures and voice messages<br>• My child: attendance and absence, closing days<br>• Meal plan, sign up or cancel meals, keep track of meal costs<br>• Answer surveys, read your inbox<br>• Photo album and your child&#39;s portfolio<br>• The centre&#39;s recipe book<br>• Keep an eye on required parent hours<br>• Reminder the evening before a closing day<br><br>CALM AND RESPECTFUL<br>Posts can be reported and individual families blocked. Pictures can be sent as one-time images. Two ticks appear only once a message has actually been fetched.<br><br>FIVE LANGUAGES<br>German, English, Turkish, Polish and Romanian. You choose the language inside the app, independently of your phone&#39;s language.<br><br>NO ADS, NO TRACKING<br>The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no trackers. Your data stays on your centre&#39;s server, not with us.<br><br>REQUIREMENTS<br>Android 8.0 or newer and a parent account on your centre&#39;s SHIFTDECK installation.<br><br>More at https://shiftdeck.de
