MyOnkoGuide

Follow-up care after cancer is important and should be carried out regularly.

The MyOnkoGuide supports follow-up care for those affected by cancer (breast cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, prostate cancer) with individual, self-managed appointment and medication management, a sports/exercise program and an information offering with event information and useful addresses. In addition, the personalized Fit2Work program helps with a career return by providing targeted information for various problems.

Functional scope of the app:

- The MyOnkoGuide offers individual appointment management, which contains the recommended aftercare rhythm of the respective S3 guidelines of the respective oncological specialist societies. You can also add your own doctor’s appointments.
- A self-managed medication plan reminds you to take the medications entered regularly.
- The app contains an extensive sports program with small exercise videos for beginners and advanced users.
- Medical reports and findings photographed with a smartphone can be integrated directly into the personal patient file. For example, at a doctor's appointment, all findings are available at a glance.
- The app contains important information about aftercare as well as current event information and useful contact addresses for Baden-Württemberg. Your own addresses can be added.
- The app works self-contained, even without an internet connection. No data is transported from the app to the server that is not actively sent by the user (feedback form, questionnaire).
- The Fit2Work guide helps users return to work after cancer.

The app was developed by the Oncological Focus Stuttgart e. V. in collaboration with the Baden-Württemberg Cancer Association. V. and the Saxon Cancer Society e.V., on the subject of sport with the expert advice and support of the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg.
