## Description

Some sustainable energy sources are quite stable like biogas or hydropower. Unfortunately they only make up a very small portion of our total energy consumption. With solar and wind energy we reach way higher production rates. But wind turbines depend on wind and solar panels depend on sunshine, that&#39;s why renewable energy is so volatile.<br>There are two ways to approach this problem:<br>1. Build big energy storages<br>2. Consume when renewable energy is available<br>Unfortunately we are still researching on energy storages that can cover such big amounts of energy. An easier solution especially for our energy consumption at home would be to shift our energy consumption into renewable production windows.<br><br>This app helps you detect when energy is renewable and helps to discover the cloudy days and nights without any wind by presenting the current percentage of renewable energy of your countries energy and how it will change in the near future with a forecast. Data for the next day arrives around 6pm.<br><br>To make it even easier for you, you can register your devices (mobile phone, dishwasher, washing machine, electric car, etc.) and let the app evaluate for you when the best consumption moment is.
