<strong>Select Translate</strong> is an open-source extension that shows an instant popup translation right on the page.

<ul><li>Set your preferred language once — then simply select any word, phrase, or sentence to see the translation.</li><li>Choose how it triggers:</li><li>always on selection, or</li><li>only while holding <strong>Alt / Ctrl / ⌘</strong> (many users prefer <strong>Alt</strong>).</li></ul>

<ul><li>No account required.
