## Description

**Copy On Select 2** automatically copies text to the clipboard when you highlight it on a web page, making repeated copying faster and more convenient. This Firefox add-on is a maintained fork of the original Copy On Select extension.

The add-on works across many standard web pages, but cannot copy selections from Firefox interface elements, special `about:*` or `view-source:*` pages, PDFs, XML documents, or disabled inputs. Compatibility may vary on JavaScript-heavy websites and editors such as Google Docs or CodeMirror. Optional permissions can be granted for restricted pages, and users can report unsupported websites through the project support site.
