Most reviews are negative. Users report unreliable face detection, with expressions either not changing or barely perceptible, even at high settings. Some also have trouble loading images from the gallery. Usability is a recurring complaint, with claims the app is not user-friendly, useless, or fake. A minority note brief positives about simplicity or potential and mention developer responsiveness. Overall, XPress is seen as underperforming, with limited expressive capability and frequent operational problems.

### Cons

- Face detection is unreliable and facial expressions are barely noticeable even at max settings.
- When a face is detected, only small mouth-corner movements occur; no clear expressions (e.g., scared).

- Not user-friendly; difficult to figure out how to use.
- Widespread perception of the app as useless or a waste, with some reviews labeling it fake or very poor quality.
