Cameron East		 App worked great for nearly a year, then at random, it quit connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. I've reset the gimbal like the tutorial states, I've ensured it is not a setting or permission on my phone that got changed, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing! If/ when they fix the app, I'll update the review and rate it higher.

Bob Hapie		 This app is like the cakes you see on a bakery window. Looks good and has all the features but it's fake. It works fine if you want to just take photos, but you don't need a sledgehammer to break a nut. I got the smooth 4 that allegedly works with that app but although the remote control etc works when taking a video, if you turn around the image is jerking or shuddering. You can use the phones app but it's not controlled by the gimbal, so it's pointless. Such a waste of time (and money)

Johnny Faust		 The app itself isnt too bad, i like the functions. My issue may lie more with the gimbal itself but whenever i attempt to take a panorama shot my gimbal will take the first 2-3stills just fine but when it reaches that last 1 or 2 the gimbal hits the end of its turning ability. Ive tried beginning the panorama many different ways with the gimbal starting in different focal areas, but it just seems to spin to the middle of its span no matter what i do. Not sure if it is a software or hardware bug

Chris Buck		 This app DOES NOT work for people who have Samsung Android phones. I found out the hard way. I tried to set it up today. I had to find a YouTube video on how to balance it correctly. In the comments of the video, that's where I found out many people who have Samsung phones are having compatibility issues with this software app. For me, the app keeps getting error messages when I try to scan the QR code in my sony zv-1. So I cannot use the zoom or the record buttons. Developers have not fixed it

Martin		 Just got the smooth 4 today. App crashed 3 times on samsung s21 ultra. Ok so the phone is not on the list. Tried my note 8 and the app crashed twice. When the app was working, I test the tracking. Could not track anything! Also, why the heck is there only digital zoom? I have multiple cameras on my phone's... No need to only use digital zoom. Note 8 has 4k on native app, but ZM play is limited to 1080 30fps. Which is weird because my s21 ultra does 8k and is limited to 4k 30fps... 0 stars

Wise Meditation		 Ok listen, this smooth 4 is a nice tool, I got this because a friend had it and back then when the tracking was good, I loved it reason why I bought it... Are you developers listen over there, I've read the reviews and a lot of us know you all can definitely address these issues. The tracking can be back or good or better, I've seen someone mentioned description of the features, that would be better to, and the zoom should be as smooth as it is on a iPhone, I'm a Samsung Note20 user..

Ed Meelhuysen		 I agree with the other recent reviews. The Smooth 4 will not connect with the ZY Play app. The previous version was bad. Upgraded hoping to improve a poor connection situation. This was worse. Phone is connected via Bluetooth to the Smooth 4. When connected, says it needs an app to work. Start ZY Play app. Won't connect. Spinning icon. Cannot find device. Tried multiple times and ways. No connection. Makes the Smooth 4 almost useless. Are you serious? Fix it! Using a Samsung Note 9.

bischroe24		 Nothing works even when you can get it connected. That's if you can get it to connect. I have the latest firmware on the gimbal and the most recent app update. None of the remote features work such as motion sync. This has been a recurring problem for their android app since I can remember. Really wish they would just put in the time and effort for Android.

Brian Scott		 Installed this app to use with my Smooth Q2 Gimbal. It's pretty much useless. My phone is using Android 7.0 which is supported. My phone is capable of shooting video in several different resolutions and frame rates including 4k. However this app only lets me choose from 30fps at either 720 or 1080p. This app also loses connection to the gimbal every few minutes, so its basically useless. I love the gimbal so I'm glad that it uses Bluetooth so at least I can use my phones native camera app. It's a shame that an excellent well built and designed gimbal ships with buggy software. I was able to use the app to update my gimbals firmware at least. However it would be nice to be able to use the app for features like time lapse, panoramic, slow motion, object tracking etc. The app offers all these options, but without the proper resolution or frame rates they are useless. I hope that this software can be updated or redesigned to work properly. Hohem and DJI apps are incredible, so it's possible to create a usable app.

A Google user		 Used this for the Smooth Q, Rider-M, Smooth 3, and Smooth 4. Earlier I disliked it and rather use the Zhiyun Assistant app for the onscreen remote controls mainly for the Rider-M. For the rest I used it as it should. Face tracking is horrible. It got better with the Smooth 4 with change in UI where is as the older retained the older UI. Oddly enough dont like how I cannot access the camera app controls without having to connect to the gimbal. Used to use it without connecting.
