Whether you're picking dandelion greens in your backyard, hunting morel mushrooms in spring, or sorting edible vs poisonous plants, WildForage gives you confident identification with the safety information you actually need.

Every entry is built around forager safety — not just "what is it," but "is it safe, what does the dangerous look-alike look like, and what mistakes land people in the ER."

WHAT YOU CAN IDENTIFY
• Wild edible plants, greens, berries, nuts, and herbs
• Mushroom identification for the most foraged species
• Edible vs poisonous plants — clear side-by-side comparisons
• Toxic look-alikes for every risky species (our core safety feature)
• What's edible, when it's in season, and how to harvest responsibly
• Clear photos and identification tips built for the field
• 57 entries free — the most important wild edibles every forager should know
• Unlock the full database with Pro — including trickier and regional species

WHY WILDFORAGE IS DIFFERENT
General plant identifier apps (PlantNet, PictureThis, Plantify) identify ALL plants — including the poisonous ones — and tell you nothing about edible vs poisonous plants, foraging safety, or toxic look-alike warnings. WildForage is built specifically for foragers: we filter for the edible ones, flag every dangerous look-alike, and give you the responsible-harvest guidance that keeps you safe.

FORAGE WITH CONFIDENCE
A foraging field guide should answer one question: "is this safe to eat?" WildForage tells you whether it's safe, how to avoid the dangerous look-alikes, and how to harvest without wrecking the patch. We tell you when the toxic plant is in season alongside the edible one — that's the window most poisoning incidents happen.
