## Description

Wheat Stack is a tactile sorting arcade set entirely on the working<br>floor of a wooden grain elevator. Sheaves of wheat tumble from the loft<br>conveyor and you decide their fate before they hit the boards. Drag a<br>clean, ripe sheaf into the right-hand Kernel Silo, drag a chaffed,<br>husk-tangled sheaf into the left-hand Chaff Vault, and keep the threshline<br>moving.<br>A live Throughput gauge climbs back up between rounds and dips with each<br>miscarriage of a sheaf, so a careless drop slows the cascade until you<br>earn the speed back through accuracy. A 60-second harvest round folds<br>into a Stormgust bonus segment every third level. During Stormgust the<br>sheaves drift sideways on the wind, the spawn rate doubles and every<br>correct route pays triple, but the timer shortens so panic is part of<br>the choreography.<br>The Cogworth Upgrade Bay lets you spend kernel coins on four mechanical<br>improvements that change how the round actually behaves: Sortspeed Hone<br>softens the throughput penalty for slip-ups, Auto Sweep installs a<br>mechanical broom that auto-routes the lowest sheaf for you on a cooldown,<br>Bunker Maw widens the bunker mouths so drops land truer, and Twine Twist<br>introduces golden-bound sheaves that are worth double when sorted<br>correctly.<br>Sprites and stage art lean into the Wheat Stack aesthetic with a warm palette<br>of kernel gold, ripe amber, burned honey and saddle husk. The storm<br>overlay is painted on the fly with drifting dust streaks rather than a<br>video loop, so every gust looks slightly different. The interface adapts<br>to any screen: phones get a stacked single-column layout, wider tablets<br>get a two-column lobby and a three-column upgrade grid, landscape arenas<br>trim the HUD and bin heights so the falling field stays generous. All<br>input is pointer-driven drag and drop, with no virtual joystick or menu<br>chains in the way of the wheat.
