## Description

**WiFi Baby Monitor** transforms your old phones or tablets into reliable video monitors for babies, toddlers, elders, or dementia patients. Trusted by over 4 million families, this free app offers features like live video and chat anywhere, motion detection with instant alerts, low-light filtering with remote flashlight control, front and rear camera options, and secure cloud recording saved for 7 days.

The app works over WiFi, 3G, or LTE networks, automatically reconnecting if the connection drops. It's easy to set up by pairing devices via Gmail and supports unlimited devices across different platforms. With end-to-end encryption ensuring privacy, caregivers can remotely watch, listen, and communicate with loved ones seamlessly, making caregiving safer and more convenient.

## Review summary

Most reviewers report major problems: the app often won’t launch or is unusable, and several call it a bait that redirects to another app or is a scam. There are also repeated privacy/security worries and claims the listing is misleading or incompatible with some devices. A smaller number of users, however, say it works well or is better than alternatives.

### Pros

- Several users say the app is "good" or that it works for them.
- A few users describe it as perfect or compare it favorably to alternatives (mention of Alfred).

### Cons

- Many reports that the app does not launch, is not working, or is unusable.
- Multiple reviews call it a bait/scam that redirects you to download another app.
- Privacy/security concerns: reviewers say it may allow unwanted access or expose data.
- Misleading listing or compatibility issues — users report "nothing to install," Android 4 support claims that don't work, or "no app" found.
