## Review summary

The Complex is praised for its cinematic, graphically rich storytelling, solid acting, and branching endings that encourage replayability. Repeated concerns focus on price and monetization (not free, purchase prompts), and gameplay constraints (no pause/rewind, time-limited choices) that can make it feel like an interactive movie rather than a traditional game. Overall, it shines for story lovers but its cost and pacing are notable drawbacks.

### Pros

- Immersive cinematic storytelling with strong visuals and acting
- High-quality graphics and visuals that enhance the experience
- Branching narrative with multiple endings, boosting replay value
- Engaging, story-driven experience that appeals to fans of cinematic games
- Overall premium feel and strong production value

### Cons

- Price barrier: the game is not free and conversations about cost appear repeatedly
- Gameplay feels more like watching a movie than playing, with no pause/rewind and tight time limits
- Difficulty following the story due to rapid subtitles and fast action, making decisions feel rushed
- Some players find the pacing slow or boring and prefer more interactivity
- Intrusive or annoying price prompts after downloading were noted by some users
