2024-02-11 | As much as I love this app (paid), it needs a way to export custom settings (maybe to a JSON file or similar) because I made dice in the past multiple times and they did not "save" anywhere, so for example when I switched phones and re-installed they were gone, and I had a big list of spells and combat rolls for a character. This app will _always_ be my "go to dice" in a pinch, but if you are going to have a dedicated Dice app for heavy use? ... you will need something else.
2023-03-13 | So I compared the 132 recommended damage to 20d10 rolls in this app. I rolled fifty times. 5 gave me a result over 130. Five rolls gave me the 30 percent chance out of fifty rolls. The chance to get it was over 30 percent and if was met 5 percent of the time. Do with that what you will. The results were between 80 and 128 over 60% of the time. Never too low, never too high. The app gives you mid rolls.
2023-02-19 | This is by far one of the best WYSIWYG D20-based games dice roller. It doesn't have or need frills like the animation of dice. It simply let's you enter what you're rolling using a calculator-like appearance. For instance, if you've cast a spell that does 4&6+4 damage, you just click on the number 4, next click on D6 to indicate you're rolling 4d6 up to this point, and finally enter in the modifiers, in this case +4 and then PRESS [⠀ROLL⠀] 🎶 FANFARE 🎵 you've just tolled 4d6 +4!
2022-12-20 | Awesome dice roller, allows you to do advantage, disadvantage, and many other modifiers. I did purchase it and it's well worth it. My only suggestion would be a multiplier option such as (5d12)÷2 for when creatures are only taking half damage and 2(d20+8) for making multiple attacks with one roll. Other than that great app.
2022-09-18 | Excellent app, not obnoxious or convoluted. Unfortunately there's no feature to roll multiple sets together, or at least I didn't find it. It just adds everything together, which means rolling an attack all at once is pretty useless. If you could type "2d20K+5, 2d6+7" for an advantage attack with a greatsword, and be presented with 2 results at the same time upgrading would be more worth it. Add that, and I'll upgrade and increase my rating, but it's still a good number generator.
2022-02-14 | Works well, i like it. I like being able to add more complex functions into my dice rolling. Main drawback is, as someone who has bought the full version, you must be connected to the internet when you open it to get full access to the apps functions locked behind the paywall. Which is annoying, as after I've payed it should just give me full access without any extra steps.
2021-08-07 | This is the best most extensive dice rolling app I've found. It's real nice being able to create whatever macros I want, and the color coding of the dice is nice, though it'd be nice to be able to choose the colors, instead of it depending on what die is rolled first. It's a very clean interface and really easy to get used to.
2021-07-18 | There seems to be no customer service for this app. After trying it, I bought the advanced bag system & it worked GREAT at first. But now one of the functions isn't working. I've sent two emails to support, but got 'Delivery incomplete' from Gmail saying the server didn't accept to connect! The app itself is great - when everything works properly. But so far the service sucks!
2021-05-09 | Overall the app is extremely nice to use, when you have to roll large amounts of dice. Although when making large numbers of equations for differing amounts of hits it's very annoying to have to get rid and write a whole new one. Maybe allow a way to tap the screen and allow you to delete at the place tapped. If it weren't for that 5 stars, but without that feature 4 stars.
2020-09-05 | The best free dice rolling app. I have since went ahead and got the paid version because I really appreciate the good job the developers have done here. The UI is simple, clean, pretty, and useful in many ways. My players really enjoy the sound effects, but sometimes I mute the crit successes/failures for more important encounters :) |
