## Description

**VSCodroid** is an open-source Android code editor, IDE and Linux terminal built from Code - OSS. Write and manage projects directly on your device with syntax highlighting, completions, refactoring, multi-file search, Git, real Bash terminals, SSH, Node.js, npm, Python and pip—without root access, a PC, a cloud account or a constant internet connection.

The app supports Open VSX extensions, Copilot Chat, Android file storage and SD cards, touch-optimized controls, background development servers and offline workflows. Ruby and Java can be installed on demand. VSCodroid requires a 64-bit ARM device running Android 13 or newer and approximately 1 GB of free space for initial setup. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with Microsoft.
