## Description

**Graphical Analysis™** is an advanced tool tailored for science students and educators to collect, graph, and analyze data from Vernier sensors. It supports a variety of sensor modes—Bluetooth-enabled Vernier Go Direct® sensors and wireless heart rate monitors—and offers features such as multi-sensor data collection, configurable timings, sensor calibrations, and manual data entry.

For analyzing data, users can display up to three graphs simultaneously, view data tables, draw predictions, calculate instantaneous rates via tangent tools, find areas under curves, and perform statistical and curve-fitting analyses. Collaboration is simplified with options for text annotations, exporting graphs and data (.CSV and .ambl formats), cloud saving, and compatibility across Android, Chromebook, Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms. This extension is an integral part of Vernier's comprehensive STEM education tools, supporting effective experimental data understanding.

## Review summary

User reviews largely cite reliability and hardware integration problems: Bluetooth sensor detection failures, crashes/startup issues, and device compatibility troubles. Usability and export/file handling limitations are also common concerns. A minority of reviews praise the app for measurements or express positive sentiment, but the dominant themes are instability and interoperability issues.

### Pros

- Useful for scientific measurements.
- Positive user sentiment from some reviewers (e.g., '10/10🔥', 'Nice app', 'Good software').
- Used in educational settings by some users (e.g., downloaded for class).

### Cons

- Unreliable Bluetooth connectivity and sensor detection (app won't detect sensors, sensors disconnect during measurements, Bluetooth-related issues).
- Crashes, force quits, and startup failures on various devices (e.g., 'force quits immediately', 'does not open on Samsung tablet', 'works like 30% of the time').
- Device compatibility issues (Android devices like Samsung tablets/S23 show problems; cross-platform differences with iPhone).
- Poor usability and UX (difficult to rename titles/axes; not intuitive; hard to navigate exporting).
- Export and file handling limitations (export restricted to a single file type that may not print; file uploads slow or fail).
