## Description

VeliKey Messenger is private 1:1 messaging with end-to-end encryption you don&#39;t have to think about.<br><br>- End-to-end encrypted. Messages are encrypted on your device and can only be read by you and the person you&#39;re talking to.<br>- Forward secrecy. Every message uses a fresh key (X3DH + Double Ratchet), so a key compromise can&#39;t unlock your past conversations.<br>- Minimal retention. The server stores messages only as opaque ciphertext until they&#39;re delivered, then deletes them. No plaintext, ever.<br>- No account, no tracking. No phone number or email required. Add a contact by scanning their QR code in person (or sharing a contact code). No ads, no analytics SDKs, no contact-list upload.<br>- Quantum-ready. On supported platforms, conversations are protected by a hybrid post-quantum key exchange (ML-KEM-768), rolled out centrally with staged canary cutovers — no app update or user action needed.<br>- Built on VeliKey Aegis. Messenger is a working demonstration of provider-managed cryptography: the operator can upgrade the whole fleet&#39;s cipher suites centrally, without an app update.<br><br>Camera permission is used only to scan a contact&#39;s QR code; frames are processed on-device and never recorded or uploaded.<br><br>VeliKey Messenger is an early release from VeliKey Technologies.
