RESILINK

RESILINK is a Research & Innovation project funded by PRIMA Program (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean, supported by European Union). RESILINK's objective is to increase resilience of smallholder farmers with multi-platforms linking localized resource sharing. The project has 7 partners with a Living-Lab Piloting Program running in Algeria, Egypt and Morocco. For more info on the RESILINK project, check out https://resilink.eu/. WHY THE RESILINK PROJECT?

- Digital Tools can provide increased resilience for smallholder farmer communities in crisis situation
- RESILINK promotes localized use of resources between communities
- RESILINK develops digital tools to provide continuity of access to resources and markets

WHAT RESILINK IS DOING?

- Identify needs & expectations when providing Digital Tools for crisis situations
- Develop the core components of a Digital Platform to share local resources
- Develop a Demonstrator with a mobile application for validation in Living-Labs

WHERE ARE THE INNOVATIONS?

- Develop lightweight Digital Platforms that can be quickly & locally deployed
- Digital Platforms can be incrementally deployed for various geographical areas
- Open API will enable Platform-of-Platforms approach to extend the ecosystem

STIMULATING LOCAL INNOVATIONS

- Fast development of new applications by local entrepreneurs
- New applications will bring new functionalities for specialized needs
- Collaboration instead of Isolation!

THE RESILINK MOBILE APP DEMONSTRATOR

- The RESILINK mobile application allows farmers to publish & search for resources
- It connects smallholders to sharing opportunities, local distribution channels
- Provides quick links to news & alarms from governmental agencies

HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

- The mobile app is a demonstrator component – ​​the visible part of RESILINK
- Just select one of the participating country to test
- Test & Validation of the whole RESILINK framework – the part that is not visible
- Search for offers from other farmers, publish offers & create synergies
