TUNA UNPAD

TUNA (healthy for Indonesian fishermen) or 'Healthy for Fishers' is a mobile health application for Indonesian fishers. TUNA is developed by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Padjadjaran. Mental health is an important issue for many fishermen. Many of them experience mental health problems as a consequence of unpredictable working conditions and unstable incomes. We designed a mental health screening application for fishers to get an overview of their mental health conditions. The application covers a wide range of pieces of information regarding fisher's well-being, fishing safety, help-seeking, health and counseling services, nature conservation, and family financial management. By using this mHealth app, we hope fishers can become more aware of their mental health condition and be able to utilize all information provided in this app to have a better quality of life, sail safely, and be more prosperous.
