## Description

**Resolution & DPI Changer** helps you inspect and adjust Android’s logical screen resolution, display size, and density for display testing, custom layouts, readability experiments, and advanced workflows.

Preview changes with timed tests that automatically restore the previous configuration, save reusable presets, calculate proportional values, and keep reset guidance available. Depending on your device, setup may support Shizuku, Wireless Debugging, a computer permission grant, or root. Optional AccessibilityService automation can assist with Wireless Debugging setup locally on your device. The app changes logical display settings only—it cannot add physical pixels, increase native PPI, or guarantee better gaming performance.

## Review summary

Users appreciate the app's ability to test resolution and DPI changes with a safety revert feature and its core function to increase DPI. However, many are frustrated by misleading 'no root' claims since the app requires root access or ADB setup. Paid pro features often fail to activate despite charges, and users complain about excessive ads and app instability. There's also a need for better explanations regarding risks and usage.

### Pros

- Allows testing resolution and DPI changes with automatic revert if issues occur
- Option to increase DPI on devices
- Provides a 'test' feature before applying changes to prevent unusable screen

### Cons

- Misleading 'no root' claim; app actually requires root or complex setups like ADB debugging
- Paid pro version often does not unlock features, with users charged multiple times
- App is full of ads even after paying for pro version
- Frequent crashes and instability reported by users
- Lack of clear instructions about potential risks and usage limitations
