Philips updated my TV via the internet. The app stopped working. i notified the developer in 2021. No response. i cancelled my subscription on Feb 11, 2022 when my subscription was good to August 2022. instead of letting it run out they charged me for a new subscription to expire Feb 11, 2023. I was cheated out of an app that doesn't connect. if i reset my TV to factory default it will work until Philips pushes an update. Then I have to reconfigure my apps by signing in to each app. Poor App

UPDATE: Used to work well. I've used it successfully for years. Now...... Everything fails to connect. The only help it provides is to make sure you're connected to the internet. LG SmartTV, Samsung TV, GOOGLE Nest Mini, Motorola Smartphone, etc. Nothing works. Uninstalled. Very easy to use. Directv Genie remote appears to have limited functionality, but it does work.

Useless. I had this app for years and at one point it even used it on an old tube TV and DVD player. I was very impressed then. They've since updated it and it no longer functions for devices (a blu ray player I have and a non-smart Visio) I used to have saved on it. Updates ruined an app that was once extremely useful. I don't need an app for my smart devices, I need an app for devices my smart things can't control. Very lame, guys.

Updated 4/2021 - got a new phone and downloaded this app. I can't find my DVD player, or smart speaker, and the tv volume isn't working. Very disappointed. The mandatory wifi connection is a disappointing development. I loved this app so much before I'll be checking back. OLD REVIEW: An app that is super easy and FAST to setup! I had my DVD, tv, and satellite setup and ready to go with full functionality within 7 minutes! I might actually spend money to buy the ad-free version.

Update: 32bit ver. Same issues, power and enter don't work but the mouse double click is a work around for the enter issue. __________ Thank you for your reply, I'll give the 32bit ver a try. Just to further inform you I'm not using a Samsung product. My phone is the OnePlus 7T pro : 'The enter button and the POWER button do Not work on new Lg uhd 75 inch TV most of the remote controls seem to work I like the keyboard remote but with out these 2 buttons it seems pointless . You got a fix?'

So I'm trying to reinstall the app and use it on the TV, VCR and cable, like I could before, but it keeps asking for a wifi connection. These are classic devices not smart devices. It's not the app's fault my phone doesn't have an infrared port. Still a great app; won't beg you for a 5-star rating. Works better with Galaxy phones for use on classic devices.

This remote app was ok at first, though I felt it took too much effort to set up devices if common brands. After recent updates to the app, the app has lost ALL previously defined devices, and now some of the most common device brands don't even show, such as Samsung under TVs, and Some under streaming devices. I recommend you go with one which will remain stable and consistent.

This app used to work great: fairly unobtrusive ads, large list of devices that were easy to add, etc. None of the TVs in the house are wifi capable so all I needed was a simple IR remote app and this worked perfectly. For some reason, this wasn't good enough for this company, so they've apparently broken their app for a shipload of users such as myself. TV brands the app used to support? Not anymore if you own something like a Sanyo, that's gone now. So screw me, I guess. Way to tank your app.

UPDATE: HAS NOT FIXED XFINITY REMOTE. When you press a button, it sends the signal twice. Every time. /// Need badly to update their xfinity remote. Only by mashing the buttons am I able to get it to do anything, but most of the buttons don't work at all. TV and DVD work great, though their layout is not great.

This is not the same app it was months ago. Total rehaul. Lost all of the useful functionality... and now requires the purchase of a separate wifi to ir device for $20 on Amazon when it used to do exactly the same thing, quite well, without it. Can't connect to any of my devices now after forced download of new version. Just bring back the old one.
