Garbage app, garbage company, would rate zero stars if it was a option.
2024-09-26	Stacey Kester	Giant money grab! You have to be a plus subscriber to use this app in any way that's useful, and I wouldn't mind except in NO UNIVERSE is this app worth the price. Not when food network is a million times better and offers every single ounce of their content for free. Not to mention that 80% of this apps content is not practical to the average home cook. Other than struggle meals, the rest is merely entertainment bc who has access to exotic, rare, impractical and EXPENSIVE ingredients? Gtfoh.
2023-12-29	Annemarie F	I have a paid subscription, but I can't access any of my saved recipes on the app, I have to go to a completely different website for that. It's very annoying. It looks like this is a common complaint among reviewers but Tastemade isn't listening.
2023-02-17	Stacey Kester	Im a paid subscriber but I hate this app! It is impossible to get recipes from my favorite shows without sitting and writing ingredients and guessing the amounts. A link to the episode recipes should be listed on every episode. That's all I want. Stop making this app so difficult to navigate and get what you actually want. I'm paying 6 bucks a month for really nothing but frustrations. Link the recipes to the episodes!
2020-03-22	A Google user	I downloaded an older version of the app online. It takes 2 minutes and I can watch all the short recipe videos again. Make sure you turn off automatic updates. I'm not paying to watch their stupid shows and they really did themselves a disservice by focusing the app around that
2020-01-19	A Google user	I used to love this app, but after the update it's ruined. I only wanted the recipes but now you can't even look at them without paying for a full subscription, which is asinine. If you want a paying subscription plan, model it after Spotify not Netflix.
2019-11-17	A Google user	This app used to be phenomenal by providing hundreds of recipes with easy access and navigation through the app. It looked cleaner and was user-friendly. However, since the update, the app is no longer free. It also turned into a streaming service for cooking shows rather than video recipes. Highly dissatisfied with the creators of the new update as the app design looks gross, and disappointed in Tastemade's decision to turn into a streaming service. Would give zero stars if I could.
2019-10-30	A Google user	Awful after update. Now wants me to PAY for stuff I didn't want in the first place! If you're going to turn your app into Netflix, you could have at least warned us first and then made a separate app for recipes only for users who came for that content (which judging the reviews would be 99.9% of people). Your recipes were great and I'd constantly look over them to get inspired, and I even tried my hand at them. Don't let this ruin your reputation. Sort. It. Out!
2019-10-13	A Google user	Hate the new update. Earlier, I was able to search for recipes according to different categories which was so damn convenient. This new version has videos which nobody is interested in and I can't even find what I'm looking for. Get the old version back with concise videos and texts of recipes! It's easier to follow them that way. Thanks!
