The location feature is more or less useless. It doesn't update for hours, even on a cell phone with good signal and hitting "locate now" repeatedly. It also, for some reason, does not remember the device chosen for location no matter how many times you select it options. Many features are limited or not available on all operating systems.

Pixel 9 "Unable to register device" Used app on Samsung 10e. Replaced with pixel 9. Can add Norton 360 on new phone and added device to my account. However Norton Family fails on install with "Unable to register the device", even with all the right permissions. Norton support has nothing for this error and no option to actually contact support on website. Very frustrating. If Norton reads this, don't placate, provide actual help resolving issue. Android System 15.

This was great for several years but in the past 6 months it's unusable. It simply doesn't function with the lock controls. Apps in popup view bypass the protections and it frequently refuses to unlock daughter's handset. I will not be renewing the subscription. Massive disappointment and should be avoided.

I have tried TONS of parental control apps. This is one of the best (paired with Life 360). I love the instant lock feature, but it doesn't work if the child's phone is off so I have to check that first (Life 360 shows battery). I gave up on using this app for location awhile ago. My biggest complaint however is the inability to allow text to emergency contacts while the phone is locked. They can call emergency contacts, but not text. Very inconvenient when they are grounded for a week.

I spent an hour trying to configure this and was never able to successfully. The most user unfriendly app I've ever seen. Just configuring it on the child phone took multiple sessions with my going back and forth between the different phone settings to figure out what needed to enabled to get it to finish loading. Then after I loaded the parent control on my phone the options on what to allow and what to restrict were extremely limited. Even worse it kept re-enabling things I disabled. Terrible!

Worst app ever! - glitches constantly - won't save information added on mobile or pc - constant ads for norton - my child uninstalled app by himself (so what's the flipping point???) - can't regulate children's time location or what their accessing Just completely useless, and that goes for the entire norton "suite": lifelock, password manager, norton 360 Do NOT waste your money. Not sure I could be less happy with this

I like the app experience, it's user friendly. The price is better than many others on the market. The deal breaker for me is the lack of app level exceptions for phone downtime. I'd like to allow limited access after hours, during school, church, etc. For now, there is only All or Nothing. School time only allows control of websites, not apps required for school.

I liked this app when I first got it. But my son has apparently figured out that if he taps his phone enough when it's locked that it will glitch and let him back on. Also, we've had issues on and off where I unlock apps or remove time limits, but he still can't access. Most of the time, he has to restart his phone several times before he's able to get back in. Norton really needs to take a closer look at fixing these glitches

0 stars Don't waste your time with this app. It is completely worthless. Most of the time I try to open the app I get a blank white screen and it never loads. I force stop the app and still nothing. Restart phone. Nothing. Give up try again later and magically it works. There are several other suspects of this app that do not work. Bottom line use a different app. 6/13/23. Several updates and it is actually somehow worse than before. I uninstalled it and reinstalled now nothing works.

This app has the potential to be great. However, it is flawed and buggy. There are too many complaints to list in this short review. One big issue surrounds my children's ability to bypass the app without the app detecting it (even with the latest version installed). For example if you entirely lock the use of the phone aside from allowed contacts, your kids can still access their apps though banner notifications. Other reviews with low ratings are very accurate to my experience with this app.
