I renewed my plan and all was well for a few months then lost the search and antivirus options. Thses are now extra add-ons to pay for. Not a good experience and now the app is more expensive when they charge for the "extra" features. |
| 2025-01-22 |  | | It isn't secure! Misleading status! The app often reports it is connected and secure but it is easy to verify the IP is your own local one and that it dropped from VPN. You need to check it's connected manually and not trust the status! I've reported this to them. Generic response. Still terrible security. YOU ARE PROBABLY NOT SECURE ON ANDROID. Unfixed gui and app bugs. Also as other have pointed out on here it has been messing up the Amazon app and web for months. Unrendered webpages etc |
| 2025-01-21 |  | | I have only one problem. I cannot use smart view on my phone with my smart TV when I'm using the VPN. Also occasionally I come across other apps which won't work if I have the VPN connected. I don't know if anything can be done about that or if it' is a common problem with other VPNs. |

It didn't do what I wanted and now there is no where to cancel on the app. I canceled in the play store but when I found the help for Surfshark, the live chat said that the auto renewal was still on. And the only thing I can do is contact the Play Store about it. These people are scammera just out to suck you into an unstoppable subscription! |

VPN does not connect and kill switch doesn't* Every single update is a large chance the app will get worse and make new issues. Kill switch doesn't work when enabled and app doesn't say vpn is off so I have no idea how long it's been off. Also apparently does not connect to public wi-fi so good luck if you travel at all. |

The vpn instantly shuts down when on cell data. 2 months later: After trying dozens of locations, switching protocols, unistalling and reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone, this flat-out does not work on cell service. And to top of that, the diagnostics won't send and just gives me the option to view articles about the issue that aren't helpful. |

Amazon pages do not render properly, regardless of connected network or even device. Everything works when I disconnect from this VPN, or if I use Proton VPN. I have reported this issue to their support a while back and provided proof, screenshots, tracerputs, assessment captured by their own tools, and was told that they would escalate. No contact from them for weeks now... Poor! |
| 2025-01-10 |  | | Terrible technical glitches that simply wouldn't clear up. I set up account yet was tild my password was incorrect. It wasn't, but they said it was. They forced me to change my password. Try to log in again, password is incorrect again. But it really wasn't incorrect. Sorry, but if these simple tasks are messed up, how can I trust it any further? I had Surfshark for 30 minutes and requested a full refund. |
| 2025-01-05 |  | | The VPN is okay at times, but has too many issues and the people at Surfshark offer zero help when contacted. Issues include: 1. When running on various devices, I often get an error that it cannot connect to my dedicated IP. I paid for a dedicated IP and it rarely works. 2. Wireguard will not work when you stay hidden on LAN. Though it is not their fault. Not a single person at Surfshare had any idea or could offer any help. 3. They removed the quick connect icon for Android. |
| 2025-01-02 |  | | They have a bug where I went to purchase, I got billed but then it said "Error you already have this item". So I contacted SurfShark and thier only suggestion was to contact my payment provider and to purchase again (at a higher price) feom thier website. I had screen shots of the error ans they didn't care. Product was decent but company is pretty bad. |
