## Review summary

Reviews praise Superprof for connecting learners with tutors and highlight positive teaching experiences. The most repeated complaint is the costly monthly subscription: users say it can be activated when they contact a tutor and that the recurring charge is not made clear upfront. Other issues appear less consistently, so the main shared concern is the payment model.

### Pros

- Helps connect students with tutors and provides opportunities to find lessons across subjects.
- Several reviewers praise tutors as knowledgeable, patient, clear in their explanations, and enjoyable to learn from.
- Multiple users describe the platform as excellent, reliable, or a great service.

### Cons

- Many reviewers report being charged an unexpected monthly subscription after trying to contact a tutor, with the recurring charge or terms not clearly disclosed.
- The monthly fee—often described as around £40/$45/€40–49 just to contact tutors—is considered expensive and poor value by several reviewers.
